Double Win for Ward Invaders

02.02.2010

The team at Creative Lynx are thrilled to have picked up another two awards at the PM Society Advertising Awards held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London's Mayfair on Friday 29th January.

The two awards were handed out in recognition of the 'Ward Invaders' game – a vintage style viral arcade game to raise awareness of Wyeth's Tygacil, an antibiotic treatment to fight superbugs on the hospital wards.

The awards, judged by leading figures in pharmaceutical marketing, recognise achievements in healthcare marketing over the previous year and were handed out at a the London ceremony by comedian Alexander Armstrong of Armstrong & Miller.

Creative Lynx took home the top award in the Digital Media category, as well as the Geoff Brook Award for Innovation, entries for which consist of all the winners from the PM Digital Awards as well as new submissions. Both trophies were awarded for the agency's Ward Invaders game for Wyeth – www.wardinvaders.com.

David Hunt, Digital Director at Creative Lynx commented on the win "We are so happy to have won again at the PM Awards. It's been a superb year for us and I am really proud of our digital innovations and the recognition they've achieved. It's not something we take for granted, there's been some amazing work produced this year and some very healthy competition, especially in the digital arena. It's a great industry to be working in at the minute and our clients have demonstrated their own forward thinking and been extremely supportive. And we've got a few more surprises in the pipeline for next year!"
